Description
Scope/Content: Julieta Noemi (Mimi) Lopez has four children. The twin girls, Julieta and Noemi, were born in Miami shortly after she arrived in the United States in 1985 and now live in Boston with her brother's family. She met her husband, Abel Orellana, in Southern California in 1992. In fall 2001 they lived with their children, Vivian and Abelito, in the same large apartment complex as Esperanza Mejia and her son, Francesco. Mimi stopped cleaning houses a few months before her son was born in December 1999.
