An oral history with Mr. Steve Pham, a refugee of the Vietnam War and current employee of the Horizon Cross-Cultural Center. This interview focused on his experience assimilating into the United States after leaving Vietnam. Steve Pham discusses how his involvement in the American Red Cross and volunteer work in law enforcement have shaped his ideology and philosophy on the future of Vietnamese Americans and Asian American History. Steve is participating in the Vietnamese American Oral History project in order to show the importance of persevering and moving forward regardless of the difficulties in life.
