This subcollection comprises oral history interviews conducted with 97 prominent faculty and administrators of the University of California, Irvine (UCI) by Samuel C. McCulloch, UCI historian and emeritus professor of History, who was himself a member of the founding faculty. Reformatting for nearly 80 of these interviews was made possible through a generous gift from Julia Gelfand and David Lang. Several interviews have sound quality issues during the first few minutes of the original recording.
