Summary: An oral history with Mr. Hien Nguyen, born in 1943 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. He was a Vietnamese air force officer during the Viet Nam War. His father was Cat Tuong, the artist who designed the modern ao dai. The interview focused on his experiences as a military officer in Vietnam, and experience in the United States. He worked for the Flying Tiger and traveled to the United States by himself. He left Vietnam right before the Fall of Saigon and ended up resettling in Los Angeles, Calfornia.
