Description
Scope/Content: In 1955, the Dave Dennison, chair of University of Michigan's physics department, wrote to John Wheeler to ask if there were any very promising graduate students at Princeton who Michigan might try to hire at the assistant professor level. Wheeler says that Misner is the best student he's seen since Feynman, but then goes on to describe Everett as also an excellent, creative, and articulate student.
