Description: Scope/Content: An oral history with Chau Huyen Pham, born in Saigon, Vietnam on September 17, 1983. She discusses her childhood memories of South Vietnam and her experiences in school and in her community. She also discusses how her family left Vietnam by purchasing plane tickets from a private loan through a non-profit organization. Her flight took a total of two days where she stopped in Thailand, Japan, San Francisco, and finally arriving in LAX. She currently lives in Garden Grove, California. Material restricted until 2024-05-24.
