Description
Scope/Content: An oral history with Mr. Danh Nhut Quach, a pharmacist from Orange County, CA. The interview explores how Quach, along with other like-minded businessmen, contributed to the development of Little Saigon in the 1980s. He earned his pharmacology degree in Vietnam through the French education system and served as the Cabinet Chair of Health during the war. After his arrival to the United Sates, he attended pharmacy school in Connecticut and later moved to Southern California to open a pharmacy and shipping business to serve the budding Vietnamese community.
